    • Started by a Marine Corps Pilot, ADPI caters to the military investor–active duty, retired, veterans and their spouses. They offer educational courses, mentoring with experienced military investors, a private networking group, events across the country, blogs and a special podcast hosted by Mike Foster. Let Markian Sich, Tim Kelly, Eric Upchurch, Adam La Barr, Victoria Griggs and Mike Foster show you the keys to success that has allowed them to control a combined asset portfolio of over a 1000 units!
  • Military Investor Network (MIN)
    • Founded by a Naval Aviator, Military Investor Network is quite similiar to ADPI, encouraging responsible investing, offering a worldwide network of like-minded military members, and serving them with resources and education that will allow them to maximize their earning potential. They also have a investment listing marketplace and meetups across the country.
  • Active Rain
    • This is the go-to site for getting started with branding. Blogs posted to this site get more traction than any other real estate investing site! What to write a blog, record a podcast, post articles, hold a thought leader forum/event? Why not start with Active Rain?
  • Zillow
    • You’ll find great data on market conditions as well as individual property searches. Zillow, Trulia, Redfin and the slew of other MLS hosting sites are valuable far beyond the simple property searches available. I routinely use Trulia for crime maps, Redfin for notifications of multifamily homes hitting the market and Zillow to perform a rent comparative analysis.
  • Redfin– See above.
